Storytelling in Schools

consueloBrazos Valley Worldfest will be highlighting bilingual storyteller, Consuelo Samarripa by offering opportunities to have her provide a storytelling session at your school October 31 – November 2.

Since the days of the Aztec, the storyteller was also known as the educator.  Consuelo is a second generation Texas native born in the west side barrios of San Antonio.  Her ancestors come from Coahuila and Nuevo Leon, Mexico.  She has been a professional storyteller since 1996 and  exercises her bilingual blends of German, French and Latin phrases in her multicultural tales.  She is a member of the Texas Commission on the Arts Performers Roster.    Check out her website for more details –http://consuelosamarripa.webs.com/.
