Storytelling in Schools

Each year Brazos Valley Worldfest invites a cultural storyteller to our community to offer presentations at Bryan/College Station schools (public, private or homeschool).  This year, a storyteller will be available between November 16-17th.  We will work to accommodate up to 3 presentations per day.

Classrooms will have a choice from a variety of stories by Bernadette Nason. Bernadette offers a variety of presentations for your classroom or homeschool group that will weave them into the cultural lessons they are learning.  The presentation could be done for a small classroom or for a group of up to 300 in an auditorium.

Storytelling Opportunities:

Tales from Merrie England
Greek Myths
African Delights
From a Land Down Under
American Folktales

If you are interested in the storyteller presenting in your classroom, please email constactus@brazosvalleyworldfest.org to get on the list.  Deadline to sign up is November 1.
